The house rattles from the slams of the wind, as if begging for a blanket to cover its cold concrete walls. Crying, pleading.. Thinking, when will this end? So what if the wind just stopped? Left the house with nothing but silence? Would not the house then be freed of its pain, of its struggles, of the dreary cold wind? Would not the house stop its crying? The house begged for this torturing to end, so the wind simply stopped. All you had to do was ask, the wind clarified. The house, confused, alone, stripped of purpose, sat in the dreary stillness. What now? Wait, I was wrong, the house desperately shouted after the wind. Aching. Come back. I know you will only freeze me to my core, I know you'll never be any good for me, only thrashing against my walls.. until eventually they're too weak to hold themselves. I know I will eventually crumble and fall. I know it's best if I let you go, you're leaving peacefully as you've made it clear. So respectfully to my surprise and hate. I know you're no good for me. But I know the misery of your absence is much greater than the pain of your torture. So won't you just stay a while longer?

5-4-3-2-1... poof. memories.

Countdown begins. She stares hazily at the clock as it ticks down the hour. 9:39. And 45.. wait, 46 seconds. FLASH--A beautiful smile on his face, bright enough to light up any bleak dark night. He's chasing me, her that is.. I was someone entirely different with him. Springing down the street without a care in the world. Laughing, they're laughing so hard. He's chasing her. Chasing her. She turns around to give him a smirk that says it all-- he's all she needs. She never wants this moment to end. One pounce later, he gently tackles her unto the green summer grass, slightly moist from the droplets of the sprinklers. The perfect California sunshine smiles down on them, as if happily approving. He flashes her that irresistible smile--the kind that makes you never want to bleak because you never, for a second, want to miss it. He's all she needs. FLASH. 9:51. A blank television screen, empty chairs with invisible occupants surround her, the sound of silence speaks more clearly than anything she's heard. All she has are her memories. That's all she needs.

to those whose struggles expand beyond divorced parents

and bankruptcy. Not to offend anyone, but take a good

look at what you've done this week. Now answer to yourself,

has it benefited your fellow men in any way? Have you

been the change you wish to see in the world? It's never too

late for us to set a path beyond the norms of society.

These people need help, help we can EASILY give.

Take a few minutes, read up on this cause. I promise if 

you do you will never regret it.
